Amid the ongoing political roller coaster, we hope you’re caring for yourself, finding strength in community and staying grounded for the work we have ahead.
In an effort to live our values, we’re continuing to pilot a 4-day work week and we’re beyond excited! There’s certainly a lot of research and studies that highlight the pros and cons of transitioning to a 4-day work week, but we collectively decided that we could discuss the pros and cons until the end of time and never get a clear answer.
Last year we decided to put it to the test with a 4 month trial. This year, we’re going to test it out from May 30 to the end of the year! All to say, we’ll be a bit slow to respond on Fridays…because YOLO!
We’re grateful to have a team that’s willing to navigate the messy with grace, honesty and humility in an effort to build a workplace culture where we are valued as people.
In community,

You shared. We listened. With your feedback we’re making some changes to how you’ll get to experience our roundtables.
Be sure to reserve your spot for our final two roundtable topics of the year:
“But bridging divides is not easy. Cancel culture, for example, is one way people reject behaviors they find unacceptable. It allows individuals—especially those from historically marginalized communities—to reclaim power, draw boundaries, and demand accountability. It says: enough. Some things must change.”
Additionally, our partner, Texas Freedom Network, is messing with Texas - watch how they're standing up for the separation of church and state.
If you’re in the Central Valley, please consider showing up for our partner, Building Healthy Communities Monterey County, as they organize to protect tenant housing rights.
We’re grateful for all of the legal professionals and community allies fighting to protect our democracy.
